Hey, I'm Jess.
I’m a Pittsburgh girl through and through
I was born here, and I’ve lived all around the city. I love every part of it. I’ve been married to my husband and best friend Tom for 11 years. We’re pretty inseparable, and he sometimes doubles as my camera-bag man when I need him! I love to travel and experience new places. In the last decade, Tom and I have visited 25 countries. I’ve learned so much about the world this way, and I always get to take some great photos!
Photolosophy
When I was 15, I hand wrote a bucket list of everything I wanted to do in my life, and I’ve been working my way through it ever since! Five years ago, I decided to tackle a big one on the list: exploring my love of photography. I bought my first DSLR and started shooting.
I am always studying and learning new ways to get that perfect shot. I don’t shoot to a particular style — I prefer to adjust to my subject’s personality, the occasion, and the location. I think it’s part of the challenge of capturing the moment. My favorite pictures are the candids — your laughter, the look you share with your spouse in between poses, a child’s curiosity. I love meeting people through my lens, helping them get comfortable being themselves in front of the camera.

She took family pictures with our newborn and our rambunctious 21 month old son, and she couldn’t have been more patient or accommodating.
